DESIGN DRAFTSMAN
Bound for: Saudi Arabia
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze building specifications, codes, and sites to understand project requirements.
Create technical drawings based on architects' sketches and specifications.
Utilize CAD software to develop drawings incorporating precise measurements, calculations, building codes, and construction details.
Print CAD drawing schematics for architects, construction managers, and engineers' use.
Enter CAD data into building information modeling (BIM) systems to create 3D models and renderings.
Prepare drawings, charts, and records using CAD equipment and conventional drafting techniques.
Visit construction sites to perform measurements and calculate dimensions as needed.
Collaborate with architects and construction engineers to ensure compliance with building specifications and industry regulations.
Keep updated on the latest developments and technologies in architectural design.
Architectural Design Draftsman Requirements:
Associate degree or certification program in architectural drafting or a similar field.
8-10 years of experience in an Architecture/Engineering consultancy firm.
Prior experience as an architectural draftsman is advantageous.
Advanced proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
In-depth knowledge of building design, specifications, codes, and structural analysis.
Ability to apply fundamental sketching and design principles.
Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills.
